Verity Property Maintenance is a wholly owned subsidiary of Verity Management Solutions LLC.
Verity Property Maintenance was established as a service entity of Verity Management Solutions LLC to fill a perceived need in the Coastal Carolina area for reliable, quality maintenance services provided by skilled workers. Since August of 2006, we have experienced growth because we do what we say we will do and strive to please our customers. Following is an overview of our management team:
Experience
Jeff Achterberg is vice president/principal inspector and manages the operations of Verity Property Maintenance and Inspections. Jeff’s background includes over 35 years of property management and maintenance. As a principal inspector, has been inspecting buildings for the past 7 years. In that time he has inspected over 10,000 buildings. Jeff Achterberg is licensed by the State of North Carolina and South Carolina as a Real Estate Inspector (NC License # 2171 SC License # 2074). He was the Head Inspector for HUD in Brown County for 4 years, and was a licensed Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor in the state of Wisconsin. He also spent 10 years as a property manager responsible for maintaining multi-unit apartment complexes. Jeff has over 30 years of experience with all facets of home construction. Jeff is the first registered FHA & VA Home Inspector in the Coastal Carolina region. Jeff is a certified HERS Rater who combines his extensive building knowledge with energy efficiency to help you achieve Energy Star compliance. You can hear Jeff on 106.3 FM, the Big Talker. Maribeth Achterberg is president and principal consultant with Verity Management Solutions LLC. Maribeth’s knowledge and experience in the energy industry and in particular with consumer energy conservation programs and renewable energy generation is a great value to our clients. Maribeth is a certified Knowledge Manager with the Knowledge Management Consortium International (KMCI) and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certificate from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). Maribeth’s experience in the private sector spans over 25 years; predominately with the gas and electric utility industry. Other industries Maribeth has served are retail, municipal government, transportation, legal, non-profit service organizations, software development, education and real estate. She also specializes in helping companies transform their organizations through managing their knowledge assets and transforming their current organizational culture to meet their marketplace challenges. She is currently writing proposals for American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Department of Energy (DOE) grant funds. Her energy & IT background are a natural fit for smart grid projects

Verity Property Maintenance is a subsidiary that has been in existence since April 2006. VPM is currently a member of the Turf Grass Council and works with Brunswick Community College applies plant science resource center. Verity Property Maintenance is a full service maintenance company. In this time, we have secured a steadily growing client base that has experienced quality service and timely responses to their maintenance requests. Both entities are fully insured with General Liability limits to one million dollars and workman’s compensation policy for the State of North Carolina.
